In the context of its aggressive policy aiming at killing and injuring the highest possible number of Palestinians, the belligerent Israeli Occupation Forces have opened fire at unarmed Palestinian civilians near Almuntar/ Karni passage to the east of Gaza as well as at Palestinian national security soldiers at a roadblock near Birak Suleiman (Solomon’s pools) in Alkhadhr village by Bethlehem.
As a result the following martyrs lost their lives:
Mohammad Ibraheem Hajjaj: a 17 year- old resident of Ashujaiah neighborhood in Gaza.
He was shot in the head.
Ahmad Suleiman Tayeh: a 15 year- old resident of Ashati refugee camp in Gaza.
He was shot in the head.
Mohammad Mahmoud Alhroub: a 27 year- old (National Security) soldier of Deir Samid in Hebron.
He was shot in the chest.
Yesterday, Tuesday, 31/10/2000, the Israelis killed 5 other Palestinians and injured more than 140 others.
Benjamin Wedemann, an American CNN reporter, was among the injured.
Yesterday’s martyrs were:
Shadi Awadh Odah: a 22 year- old resident of Azzaitoun neighborhood in Gaza.
He was shot in the head.
Hazim Mousa Abu Daff: a 22 year- old resident of Azzaitoun neighborhood in Gaza.
He was shot in the head.
Mohammad Khza’ah Hillis: a 23 year- old resident of Ashujaiah neighborhood in Gaza.
He was shot in the chest.
Mohammad Ahmad Abu Alkhair: a 20 year- old resident of Ashujaiah neighborhood in Gaza.
He was shot in the chest.
Thair Ibraheem zaid: a 17 year- old resident of Ajalazon refugee camp in Ramallah.
He was shot in the liver/abdomen.
This raises the number of Palestinians killed by the Israelis since 29/9/2000 to 149 martyrs.
