The disproportionate and lethal use of force frequently used by the IOF against Palestinian civilians has contributed to a rising number of civilians victims in Al Maghazi Camp in middle district of the Gaza Strip, in the latest prolonged IOF offensive.

Al Mezan is expecting further killings among civilians as indicators show Israel’s intentions to commit further such crimes.
In addition to these attacks, Israeli navy vessels fired 20 missiles towards the beach road.
A Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) ambulance was hit and the drivers injured whilst trying to treat the wounded.
Moreover, according to Al Mezan's field workers, the IOF dropped leaflets threatening to shell all houses suspected to contain weapons or ammunition, and attack any individuals approaching members of Palestinian factions.
Al Mezan severely warns about the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the OPT, as tens of Palestinians are losing their right to work, in addition to the financial boycott of the PNA which has prevented all governmental employees from receiving their salaries.
Al Mezan also condemns the IOF policy of collective punishment and the continued closure of Rafah terminal, which effectively imprisons the Gaza Strip and increases the suffering of the Palestinians.
Al Mezan expresses its grave concern over the escalating IOF offensive in the OPT, and strongly condemns the silence of the international community in light of the drastic impact of IOF violations on the humanitarian situation in the OPT.
Al Mezan renews its demands to the international community, notably the High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention to fulfill their legal and moral obligations under the Convention, put an end to Israeli violations in the OPT, and provide protection to Palestinian civilians in the OPT.
