Israeli Naval Forces Open Fire at Fishermen in West Middle Area District

At 12:10am on Sunday, 5 August 2018, Israeli naval forces opened fire at Palestinian fishermen sailing off the coast of Deir Al Balah city in the Middle Area district even though the fishermen were sailing in the allowed fishing zone. In fear for their lives, the fishermen had to stop their work and they escaped away. No casualties were reported.
