One Child Dies of Wounds Sustained in Israeli Shooting

At 5am on 4 August 2018, doctors at Al-Aqsa Hospital pronounced dead Muath Al-Soori, 15-year old resident of Nusairat refugee camp. The doctors stated that Muath’s death followed critical wounds he had sustained when Israeli forces shot him with live fire in the stomach during his participation in the Great Return March demonstration in east Burij. Immediately following his injury, he was rushed to Al-Aqsa Hospital and admitted to an operating room; however, he finally succumbed to his wounds.
