Israeli Navy Opens Fire at Fishermen in Western Gaza

At 21:00 on Saturday, 12 August 2017, Israeli naval warfare ships opened fire at Palestinian fishermen sailing in areas western to Sodania district in Gaza city. At 11:30a.m. on the same day, Israeli naval forces opened fire at other fishermen sailing in areas western to Beit Lahia city in the north of the Gaza Strip. In both cases, fishermen stopped fishing and went back, and no injuries were reported.
