IOF Opens Fire and Injures Two Eastern Khan Younis

At approximately 2:30 pm on Friday, 19 May 2017, Israeli occupation forces opened fire at tens of young me and children who were east Khuza’a and Abassan Al Kabira east Khan Younis. People were gathered there to express their solidarity with Palestinian detainees hunger striker.

The IOF opened fire at them when they approached the separation fence. As a result, two people were injured. Al Mezan identified their names as follows:

• Amen Mohammed Samour, 21, resident of Bani Suhaila, sustained two bullet wounds in the abdomen and pelvic; and
• Mousa Zaid Samour, 24, sustained a bullet wound that penetrated the left side and exited from the abdomen.

Amen was about 40 meters away from the separation fence when he was injured and Mousa was about 300 meters away from the separation fence.

They were admitted to the Gaza European Hospital to receive medical treatment.
