IOF Attacks North of Beit Lahiya; Two Persons Killed and Another Injured

At approximately 11:55 am on Thursday 3 November 2011, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire on Palestinian farmers in their fields near the “access-restricted area” (also called the “security buffer zone”), on the Abu Nada, Mhana, and Khdeer family properties, and in the As-Sayafa area, in the north of Beit Lahiya, North Gaza district.
  IOF aircraft, under covering fire, then launched about four missiles that fell in an agricultural area.
  The firing lasted until approximately 1:40 pm on the same day.
  As a result, the farmer Mohammed Amer Mohammed Abu Halema, 22, and Naser Ibrahim Deen ‘Iliyian, 22, were killed.
  Salim Hamad Mohammed Abu Shamas, 36, sustained a shrapnel wound in the right leg.
  A vehicle belonging to the Abu Halema family was destroyed in the attack.
