Israeli Bulldozers Cut Off Mobile, Landline, and Electricity Cables in Gaza Strip

At approximately 9:00 am on Tuesday 9 August 2011, four Israeli armored bulldozers accompanied by two Israeli tanks moved about 200 meters into the vicinity of Nahal Oz crossing east of Ash-Sheja’iya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
The bulldozers razed and leveled a strip of open land there.
At approximately 5:00 pm on the same day, the Israeli digging cut mobile and landline networks and electricity cables, leaving the Gaza Strip into an information blackout.
At approximately 6:00 pm on the same day, the IOF withdrew from the area.
