IOF Escalates its Attacks against Palestinian Fishermen in North Gaza District

At approximately 6:20am on Monday 20 June 2011, the Israeli naval vessels patrolling the Gaza sea opened sporadic fire on the Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of As-Sudaniya area west of Beit Lahiya town in north Gaza district.
The firing lasted until the afternoon hours of the same day.
No casualties or injuries were reported bur fishermen were scared and abandoned their fishing activities.
