Palestinian Dies of His Injuries in North Gaza

On 14 June 2009, medical sources at the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced the death of 24-year-old Yasir Arafat Shbeir as a result of his injuries sustained from an IOF shelling on 12 January 2009 during the recent Israeli operation codenamed 'Cast Lead'.
Shbeir was severely injured in that attack and was referred to an Egyptian hospital where he died of his wounds.
