40am, on Friday 7 September 2007, The Executive Force sat up roadblocks at entrances of Middle Gaza district refugee camps to prevent hundreds of members and supporters of Fateh and other PLO factions who gathered to perform the Friday prayer, which was called for by Fateh on Salah Ad Din main road in Al Bureije Refugee Camp.
As gun shots were heard in the area, members of the EF opened fire randomly in the air, injuring 4 citizens.
At the time of the prayer, the EF attacked them by batons in an attempt to disperse them.
16 people were injured and 35 others were arrested.
The center's field worker in the area was banned by the EF from covering the incident.
