EF attacks house of Fateh leader and arrests one of his relatives

At approximately 1.
30am, on 6 October 2007, members of the Executive Force (EF) attacked the house of the Fateh leader Samir Al Masharawi in the At Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza, searching for his relative Bassam Mohammed Al Masharawi, 26.
The EF withdrew from the area as they did not find the wanted person.

Half an hour later, the EF headed to the house of Bassam's family, and arrested his brother Fawzi, 29, as they did not him.
Fawzi was ordered to call Bassam who later gave himself up the EF.
The EF arrested Bassam and released his brother.
No information is available regarding the reasons of arrest of Bassam Al Masharawi.
