50pm on 7 November 2007, Dr.
Nazmi Mustafa Ashour, 53, died while waiting for passage coordination approval by the Erez crossing authority.
Ashour was a resident of Gaza and suffered from brain clot.
Coordination arrangements were made for his transfer to an Israeli hospital for medical treatment, but the IOF made him wait for 20 minutes till he died.

The IOF had retarded issuance of his medical clearance for two days, which contributed to a serious deterioration in his health condition.
This case is the fourth of its kind, as three people died, last year, while waiting at Erez.
