On Tuesday, 17/6/2008, at approximately 1:00am, police searched the Palestinian Society for Development and Charity, located in Beit Lahia project.

The Chairman of the Board, Mr.
Ramadan Salem Sulaiman Al Masri, reported that the police officers asked for all equipment that is not recorded by the non-profit.
Permission to search the premises came under the authority of the General Prosecutor's Office.
Police confiscated all items intended for use in a summer camp.
The camp is organized as part of the Summer Games project, which is financed by Canaan Development Educational Institute and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).

Officers told Mr.
Al Masri to appear at the Beit Lahia police station without clear justification.
The Society meets all legal requirements and has a valid license to operate.
It is noteworthy that it obtained a certificate of good conduct from the Ministry of Interior of the deposed government in Gaza.
