On 24 April 2007 Al Mezan Center for Human Rights opened a three-day training course on "The Basic Concepts of Human Rights" in coordination with the UNRWA's Human Rights and Conflict Resolution Program.
The course targets a group of instructors in the UNRWA Gaza Vocational Training Center and poses various human rights issues, such as the concepts and values of human rights, economic, social and cultural rights, the right to education, the right of the child, International Humanitarian Law, and the social and psychological impacts of violence.
