At 9:30am on Thursday, 2 August 2018, Israeli forces arrested Mohammed Al-Astal, 50-year old father of ten and trader from Khan Younis , while he was crossing through Erez. He went to Erez in the morning to cross to the West Bank for his work in vegetables trading; however, Israeli forces arrested and detained him at an unknown center even though he had a permit to cross through Erez.
