At 3pm on Friday, 6 July 2018, thousands of Palestinians joined the Great Return March protest in east Khuzaa area in east Khan Younis. During their demonstration for the 15th Friday, they gathered at a distance of 300 meters away from Israel’s security fence and they raised Palestinian flags. Israeli forces located behind the fence used live ammunition and tear-gas canisters to police the demonstrators. 24 Palestinians, including four children, were injured. 10 of them were wounded with live fire, including three children. Casualties received medical treatment in field-based clinics and they were then referred to Naser Hospital, Gaza European Hospital, and Algerian Hospital.
