At 1:30am on Sunday, 24 June 2018, doctors at the European Gaza Hospital announced the death of Osama Abu Khater, 29, who was critically shot with live fire in the chest at 7pm on Friday, 22 June 2018. At the time of his serious injury, he was taken to the Hospital and remained in the intensive care unit there until his death.
