On 1 February 2018, the supreme military court in Gaza, a body of the military justice system, supported a death by hanging sentence to A.Kh., born in 1968 and a resident of Khan Younis, on the conviction that he had collaborated with hostile entities, in accordance with Article 131 of the Palestinian Revolutionary Penal Law of 1979. The sentence was made on 19 February 2017 by the permanent military court, which explained the A.Kh’s collaboration with Israel since 1991, a period of time during which he provided information on Palestinian resistance activists which led to Israeli attacks on several places and to death of one Palestinian.
