Check out our new film, “Under Security Consideration", which gives us two stories: that of Palestinian football player, Hamza Temraz, and young girl, Sara Badra - both seeking urgent medical care not available in the Gaza Strip. The film lays out the complex and onerous permit process for Palestinians patients of Gaza that results, largely, in the denial of the right to health, to ill-treatment and in some cases to torture. The stories of Hamza and Sara are heartbreaking. Even more so that they are reflections of everyday life of two-million people in the Gaza Strip who face the innumerable repercussions of Israel’s ten-year, illegal closure and blockade.
After watching our film, please feel free to write about your experiences with torture and ill-treatment by Israeli forces and authorities. This is an open forum that encourages sharing of experiences and thoughtful reflection.
