On Sunday morning, 16 October 2016, Court of First Instance in Khan Younis sentenced M. H., 33, resident of Khan Younis, to death by hanging, and sentenced B. S. to 10 year imprisonment after being convicted of killing Jabr Nemr Khalil Hassan, the husband of the second convicted on 12 September 2011. The first defendant was convicted of premeditated murder under articles (214, 215, and 216) and the second defendant violated the articles 23/36 of the Palestinian Penal Code No. 74 of 1936. This verdict came after 32 sessions of proof and defense.
