At approximately 2:00 pm on Friday, 27 May 2016, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), stationed at Nahel ‘Oz crossing east of Al Sheja’iya neighborhood, eastern Gaza City, opened fire and launch tear gas canisters at young men and children who were taking part in a popular event against Israeli violations in Jerusalem and border West Bank. Israeli shooting lasted until 6:00 pm on the same day. As a result, one protester sustained a bullet wound at his leg. Medical source at Al Shifa Hospital described his injury as moderate .
