At approximately 2:00pm on Friday, 16 October 2015, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened heavy fire and launched tear gas canisters at a group of Palestinians who gathered after Al Jumaa’ prayer in the area which is located east of Al Bureji refugee camp, about 200 meters far from the borders. As a result, 42 Palestinians were injured and carried to Al Aqsa hospital in Deir Al Balah. 13 of the victims sustained bullet wounds, and the others were suffocated due to inhaling tear gas.
