At approximately 1:20 pm on Sunday, 28 December 2014, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at protestors who participated in a peaceful demonstration call for lifting the siege and reconstruction of Gaza.
The demonstration was organized by the National and Islamic Forces.
As a result, three were injured.
Al Mezan identified them as follows:
Mohammed Ayman Musbah Youssif, 15, who sustained bullet wound in his left leg;
Ibrahim Khaled Mahmoud Al Talouli, 23, who sustained bullet wound in his left leg; and
Amer Fadl Youssif Abu Al Qomsan, 26, who sustained bullet wound in his right thigh.
They are all resident of Jabaliya refugee camp.
Medical sources at Kamal Odwan hospital described their injuries between minor to moderate.
According to Al Mezan's field investigations, the demonstration started from Hamouda crossroads to the customs crossroad at the same time of launching demonstrations at all Gaza districts on Salah Ad-Deen main road.
