Explosion Kills Child and Injures Three in Northern Gaza

At approximately 7:30 pm on Tuesday 24 June 2014, an explosion took place and led to the death of Joud Mohammed Al Danaf, 3, and the injury of three others: Amal Mohammed Al Danaf, 5; Hassan Ali Al Danaf, 4; and Mohammed Ali Al Danaf, 2.
the injured children sustained shrapnel in different parts of their bodies.
Medical sources at Kamal Odwan Hospital described the injury of Hassan as critical, and referred him to Al Shifa hospital in Gaza.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, a locally made rocker fell by mistake near the children house which is located north of the previous American school in Beit Lahiya in North Gaza district.
