At approximately 6:00 pm on Wednesday 11 June 2014, an explosion took place in the house of Jalal Ra’fat Al Ghussein which is located in Yafa strett in At-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City. As a result, Khalil Jalal Ra’fat Al Ghussein, 14, died. The police opened an investigation into the incident.
