At approximately 6:00 pm on Friday 23 May 2014, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested three men who approached the borders east of Jabaliya in North Gaza district.
Al Mezan has identified their names as follows:
Shadi Fat’hi Al Hawajri, 18;
Ahmed Mohammed Saleh, 18; and
Harb Maher Abu Wadi, 20.
They are residents of Jabaliya in North Gaza district.
In their affidavits to Al Mezan, the detainees’ families stated that the three young men went out together on Friday morning, and their families knew they were arrested from some witnesses.
They knew that the family of detainee Khader- who was arrested on the previous day- received a call from their son informing them that the three young men are arrested with him in Ashkelon prison.
