Egyptian Authority Closes Rafah Crossing for Six Consecutive Days

Rafah crossing is closed for the six consecutive days.
In the morning hours on Wednesday 11 September 2013, the Egyptian authority closed Rafah crossing and travelers on both sides are prevented from passing until other notice because of the unstable security situation in Sinai.
Between 19 August 2013 and 22 August 2013, the Egyptian authorities closed Rafah crossing for eight days.
Between 8 August 2013 and 11 August 2013, the Egyptian authority partially opened Rafah crossing.
One bus was allowed to enter Gaza.
The closure of the Rafah crossing affects many Palestinians, especially Palestinian families living in other countries and university students who study abroad, have been stuck in Gaza.
They are waiting to be allowed to travel back.
