On Sunday, 24 March 2013, at approximately 9:00 am, IOF positioned at the eastern borders of Deir Al Balah arrested Ziyad Sami Hassan Abu Gharaba , 17, a resident of Al Mosaddar Village, in the middle of the Gaza Strip. According to the child’s parents they stated that, at 3:00 pm on the same day, one of their son’s friends received a call from IOF informing him that their son was arrested on the pretext of his attempt to infiltrate the separation fence and asked him to inform the child’s parents of his arrest.
