At approximately 7:00 am Friday 24 August 2012, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) detained five Palestinians who were trying to sneak across the separation fence between Gaza Strip and Israel east of Al Bureij refugee camp.
Al Mezan has identified their names as follows:
Salim Salih Suliman As-Sane' ,18;
Faris Osama Suliman As-Sane' , 19;
Alaa’ Yihya Ahmed Sa’eed As-S’edne ,17;
Haitham Mohammed Khamis Khadir ,16; and
Mohammad Mattar, 17.
The five detainees are residents of An-Nuseirat refugee camp.
According to the detainees’ families, Israeli police called them and informed them of their detention at Ofakim detention center.
