At approximately 11:30 pm on Tuesday 24 October 2011, a civil defense team recovered the body of Ahmad Ramadan 'Issa Irbai', 30, from Khan Younis. Mr. Irbai was admitted dead on arrival to Abu Yousef An-Najjar Hospital, where doctors attributed his death to suffocation. According to the information available to Al Mezan, at approximately 4:30 pm on the same day, he was killed in the collapse of a tunnel, on the Gaza-Egypt border, near Al Brazil neighborhood, in the south of Rafah.
