At approximately 7:00 am on Thursday 6 October 2011, six armored Israeli bulldozers moved 300 meters into Gaza under cover of sporadic fire toward the Abu Samra area, north of Beit Lahiya in North Gaza district.
As a result, farmers who were in their fields were panicked and abandoned their work.
At approximately 8:00 am on the same day, the bulldozers moved to the east towards the Bedouin village of Um An-Naser.
No casualties or injuries were reported.
At approximately 3:00 pm on the same day, the Israeli occupation forces withdrew from the area.
