Israeli Aircraft Attack Residential House in Beit Hanoun; Three Persons Injured, Including Elderly Woman

At approximately 7:20 pm on Saturday 1 October 2011, Israeli aircraft fired a missile at two Palestinian youths who were inside the house of Atta Abdel Al Atti Az-Za’neen.
The house is located on Al Wad Street in Beit Hanoun, in North Gaza district.
As a result, two Palestinian youths and an elderly woman were injured.
  Al Mezan has identified them as follows: ·         Yousif Rafeq Ahmed Shbat, 28(sustained critical injuries); ·         Abdullah Akram Mohammed Abu Harbeed, 22; and ·         Sa’deea Sa’eed Abdullah Nasser, 64.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, Israeli aircraft fired a missile at the two Palestinian youths while they were in the house’s garden.
The elderly woman who was injured was paying a visit to her granddaughter, who lives in the same house.
As a result, the house was severely damaged and an adjacent house was partially damaged.
The Israeli Occupation Forces spokesperson’s unit confirmed that a “preemptive strike against a terror cell” had taken place.
