At approximately 10:30 am on Tuesday 20 September 2011, Abeer Nizar Abdel Daiem, 12, was admitted to Kamal Odwan Hospital after sustaining shrapnel wound in her left arm.
Medical sources described her injury as moderate: the shrapnel caused a fracture of her arm and damage to the skin.
The girl was at her school when she was injured.
