The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) closed Erez Crossing for two days starting on Monday 18 April until Tuesday 19 April 2011.
The Israeli authorities said this closure comes due to the Jewish holidays.
The closure of Erez will prevent many people; including Palestinian patients, businessmen as well as international journalists, staff of international organizations, and diplomats from leaving or entering Gaza.
The crossing is expected to reopened on Wednesday 20 April 2011.
