7 December 2010
Short Link:
During Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (5, 6, and 7 December 2010), a group of persons who are believed to be Haman supporters removed dozens of red flags that had been hung by supporters of the Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) in different areas throughout the North Gaza district.
Flags have been hung to mark the commemoration of PFLP 43rd anniversary on 11 December, which is very close to the 23rd anniversary of Hamas Movement on 14 December.
Both factions’ supporters started to hang flags in the streets.
According to Al Mezan's field investigations, PFLP complained to the police about attacks against their flags.
