At app. 2.15am, on 18 May 2008, unknown men detonated an explosive device at the entrance of a fast food Restaurant, opposite to Al Al Quds Open University. The explosion resulted in severe damages to the restaurant, which is owned by Khalil Ahmed Saleh, 58. No information is available regarding the identity of the perpetrators or the motivations behind it.
