IOF Enters Erez Crossing and Shells Civilian Car

7:20am, on 22/5/2008, five IOF military vehicles entered into the area of Erez Crossing amid intensive fire, and under drone and helicopter cover.

About twenty minutes later, IOF helicopters fired one missile at a civilian car that was turned over in front of the Erez industrial zone entrance.
As a result, the car was destroyed completely, but no injuries were reported.

The explosion led to widespread electricity cuts in the North Gaza Governorate and some areas in Gaza City.
Electrical crews have not reached the area to repair damages until the issuance of this news.
