IOF Kills Child in Demonstration near Nahel Oz Crossing

2:30pm, on 22/5/2008, 16-year-old Hussien Ahel, resident of Al Shatee' refugee camp, was killed.

The IOF was stationed on observation towers near Nahel Oz Crossing, which is used for importing fuel.
A demonstration against the seige was taking place and the IOF opened fire at the participants.

Consequently, the IOF tried to disperse the march by throwing tear gas and opening fire.
As a result, Ahel was killed by a live bullet to his abdomen and 14 others were injured with various wounds.
