On Wednesday, 4/6/2008, at approximately 2:00 pm, three gunmen wearing civilian clothes stormed into the Afkar Society for Youth Development.
One of the staff members reported that a gun was held to their side.
Afkar is located on the 5th floor of Al Daoor Building on Al Wehda Sreet in Gaza City.
According to Afkar's staff, the gunmen identified themselves as members of Internal Security.
They asked them for financial and administrative reports, in addition to the names of participants in Afkar's meetings.
Then, they searched the premises for one hour and a half and took over six video tapes, five CDs, notes from Board meetings, and other documents related to the Society.
The gunmen left after they confiscated these items.
It is noteworthy that the Director of Afkar, Mr.
Mohammed Abu Sharekh, has been summoned for investigation many times during the last two weeks.
