On Wednesday, 11/6/2008, at approximately 2:00am, the IOF opened fire towards farm land in As Sreij area of eastern Al Qarara village.
At approximately 2:30am, IOF vehicles and bulldozers entered 8 meters into the area under intensive fire and began to bulldoze.
At approximately 5:20am, the IOF launched a number of missiles towards a group of young men in the area of the incursion.
As a result, 22-year-old Ibrahim Mahmoud Al Masri was killed.
Thirty minutes later, IOF tanks launched an artillery shell towards the house of Abdel Karim As Samiry, 1500 meters from the border line.
The artillery landed near the house and claimed the life of 8-year-old Hadil Abdul Karim As Samiry, who was hit by the missile directly and blown into pieces.
When her family came to her aid, the IOF tanks launched another artillery in the same direction, injuring 27-year-old Amal Sulaiman As Samiry.
She was wounded by shrapnel to her left arm, and was transferred to Nasser Hospital.
It is noteworthy that medical crews cannot reach the area to retrieve the body of Al Masri due to ongoing military operations in the area.
