On Tuesday, 17/6/2008, at approximately 2:30pm, an IOF aircraft fired one missile towards a car carrying five passengers.
The blue Peugeot 306 was heading north on Gamal Abdel Nasser Avenue, about five meters from the junction in Al Qarara village, north of Khan Younis.
The missile hit the car directly and it burst into flames upon impact.
It was destroyed completely.
All people in the car were killed.
The names of victims are:
29-year-old Moataz Mohammad Jumaa Doghmosh, of Gaza City;
21-year-old Mohammad Amer Mohammad Asli, of Gaza City;
21-year-old Khalid Sa'eed Al Sadoudi Nidal, of Gaza City;
27-year-old Mahmoud Mohammad Shandi, of northern Gaza Strip; and,
35-year-old Fawzi Sulaiman Musa Odai, of Khan Younis.
The bodies of the victims were taken to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis
