On Sunday, 22/6/2008, at approximately 3:00am, a bomb exploded at the entrance of the house of 37-year-old Monther Awad Qannita.
The explosion damaged the entrance partially, but no causalities were reported.
The motives and perpetrators behind the incident are unknown.
Qannita works for the police investigation unit.
His home is located on Abu Hasira Street in As Shati refugee camp, in western Gaza City.
