Elderly Farmer in Eastern Khan Younis Shot by IOF

On Wednesday, 25/6/2008, at approximately 7:15am, the IOF opened fire on 82-year-old Salem Ahmed Hamdan Abu Reda.

Shooting from inside their military vehicles on the border line east of Khan Younis, the IOF shot Abu Reda while he was gathering herbs from a field near Abu Reda gate.
The field is located 50 meters from the separation border, east of Khozaa village.

As a result of the attack, Abu Reda received a live bullet to his left arm.
Medical sources at Nasser Hospital described his injury as moderate.
