On Saturday, 5 July 2008, at approximately 6:30 am, the IOF warships opened fire toward Palestinian fishing boats the coast of the north Gaza town of Beit Lahia. No causalities were reported. It is noteworthy that the firing usually occurs in the evening and at daybreak hours.
