IOF Opens Fire on Khiza'a, Injuring Girl in Classroom

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) fortified along the borderline to the east of Khan Younis opened fire on Kjiza'a town in eastern Khan Younis at 8:15am on Monday, October 27, 2008.
Aziza Sulaiman Qdeih, 15, was injured by bullet shrapnel to the nose while she was at her first-story classroom in the Shuhada Khiza'a high school, located nearly 700 meters away from the borderline.
Panic and confusion spread among the school students.
The Center's information says the IOF opened intensive fire on the town continuously for 15 minutes.
