On Thursday morning, 13 November 2008, the Palestinian Mill Company was suspended due to lack of wheat since Tuesday, 4 November 2008.
Mr.
Qassim al-Farra, Assistant to the Company's Chairman of the Board, told Al Mezan's researcher that the Company used to produce nearly 500 tons of wheat before the IOF sealed off the Gaza Strip.
The Company produces nearly 270 tons/day for the local market and nearly 100 tons/day for the UNRWA.
The Company has suspended production after it ran out of wheat.
