At app. 23.30pm, on 31 December 2008, the IOF, stationed on the eastern outskirts of Khoza'a village in eastern Khan Younis town, fired shells on agricultural land and residential buildings in the village. One citizen was injured as a result, and was reported to have sustained serious injuries.
