Mr. Yahya Mohareb, Al Mezan’s lawyer, thanked the VACS and the participants, and hoped that they will promote the newly acquired knowledge among the VACS’s targeted beneficiaries.
The training course lasted for two days (15 training hours) and the participants were introduced to the International Human Rights Law, the International Humanitarian Law, monitoring and documentation mechanisms, and elections and mechanisms of election monitoring.
It is worth mentioning that this course is part of Al Mezan’s core program which aims to promote human rights and International Humanitarian Law, particularly among the youth in hope that they will disseminate these principles among their peers.
