At approximately 3:30pm on Saturday, 17 October 2015, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire and threw tear gas canisters at a group of Palestinians who gathered near the borders east of Al Bureji refugee camp. As a result, 10 Palestinians were injured, among them four paramedics from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS). Four of the injured sustained bullet wounds and the others were suffocated due to inhaling tear gas. Two ambulances of the PRCS were damaged as the Israeli forces launched tear gas canisters directly at the ambulances. Journalist Mahmoud Omar Al Louh, 25, was injured from inhaling tear gas.
